Whichever audio layers you’ve made universal will be remembered as your main audio, so whenever you click refresh, it’ll refresh from those audio layers, as you add new comps you only need to hit refresh to provide audio reference in those new comps, even if you close after effects and re open the project it’ll remember the audio source layers so you can get right back into refreshing the universal audio, adding new comps and animating in sync.
