Beginner’s Guide to Realistic Drawings with Colored Pencils: Core Techniques for Smooth Results

If you’re new to colored pencils, this class is the perfect place to start. Many beginners struggle with drawings that look scratchy. In this class, I’ll show you the core techniques I use in every drawing to achieve smooth, realistic results.  We’ll begin by looking at the basic materials you’ll need, then move on to practicing the essential skills that form the foundation of all my work. Once you’re comfortable with these techniques, we’ll apply them to a fun, colourful toy train drawing, putting everything into practice step by step.

My class has been designed with the beginner in mind so I don’t use lots of complicated phrases – everything is explained in plain words. You’ll build confidence by learning:
