- In this class, we will create a still life sketch based on arranged objects from our own lives. This is the first in a series of classes that will provide RICH prompts for sketchbook pages. “Rich” prompts are not just a word or phrase, but broad ideas based on how we live and how we can tell our life stories in sketches. These prompts can be used over and over again to generate many interesting and different ideas inspired by our everyday things. Lack of ideas is the biggest obstacle to a successful sketchbook practice, and we want to change that by making your everyday sketching a source of excitement and creative joy. One idea will lead to another, and you will soon have plenty of ideas for your pages. Supplies are whatever art supplies you like to use plus a sketchbook. This class is for every level of sketchbook artist from beginner to advanced.
