This Guy Edits – ROUGH CUT: Dune – Editing is Another World

Here is a rough cut of a new video coming to the channel. I examine a key scene in “Dune” that showcases some of Joe Walker’s finest editing.   He won an Oscar for his editing in Part One, partially because he is a master at respecting the take, the performances, and ultimately the audience by knowing when not to cut.
