What typography teaches you will help you along your graphic design career. If you are designing a website, print ad or a social media post, you will have to produce a balanced design that is both aesthetically pleasing and user friendly.
As a beginner, you will have the best experience learning these rules. The basics will give you the keystone to develop and build your own style of graphic design work.
