What you’ll learn
- Understand the Evolution of Industrial Revolutions
- Compare and Contrast Manufacturing Techniques
- Analyze the 3D Printing Process Chain
- Classify Additive Manufacturing Technologies
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, focusing on its principles, processes, technologies, and applications. Students will explore the evolution of 3D printing, from its early development to its current role in Industry 4.0. The course covers the seven standard additive manufacturing processes as defined by ISO/ASTM, including Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Stereolithography (SLA), and Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), among others.Participants will gain practical knowledge of the 3D printing workflow
