Madhubani is an art form of the Mithila Region of Bihar, which is the northern region of Bihar. It is a form of Folk Painting. It is done using natural colours and painting using twigs. In this course, you will learn the basics of Madhubani and how to draw Madhubani motifs and each element and put it all together. Madhubani Paintings are done mainly on walls with cowdung plaster. However, nowadays they are done on handmade paper, fabric and wood, etc, using either ink or acrylic paint. You will be handed out the various PDF notes, which you need to practise on paper to draw the paintings precisely.
