They use structured research to understand their audience and to gather reliable information that guides their decisions. We begin by exploring the different types of market research that businesses can use to better understand their customers and their markets. This includes understanding how to gather insights, where to look for reliable information, and how to interpret what you discover.
A key principle of this module is moving away from guessing what customers want and instead learning how to know what customers want. Marketing becomes far more effective when it is built on real evidence rather than assumptions.
