In this module, we focus on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and how to improve your visibility on search engines such as Google. SEO is a key part of digital marketing because it helps your business get found by people who are actively searching for your products or services.
We begin by introducing the four key elements of SEO: on-page SEO, off-page SEO, technical SEO, and local SEO. Each of these plays a different role in how search engines understand, rank, and display your website. On-page SEO focuses on the content and structure of your website, including how you use keywords, headings, and page content to make it clear what your website is about. Off-page SEO looks at external factors, such as links from other websites, which help build authority and trust in the eyes of search engines.
