“Drawing” and “making them move” are different things. Being good at illustration or proficient in 3D CG and digital drawing tools doesn’t necessarily mean you can create animation.

In order to make your drawings (or 3D models) move exactly how you envision, learning the technique of “in-betweening” (NAKAWARI) is essential. “In-betweening” is the technique of adding additional drawings between keyframes to make the animation move smoothly.
