Betterhear: “I’ve never been a fan of the “brush” style of videos. (Same for most “ink” videos, too.) But this is the first, of the dozens and dozens of videos using the brush technique that I think looks really awesome! You managed to finally take this category and do something really lively and beautiful with it.
I think the reason this template works so much better than all the rest is because you’ve made it very lively and interesting. Instead of having slow brushstroke after brushstroke, you make them glide across the page quickly. That makes all the difference.
But you also add other techniques that work nicely, too: the “pencil drawing” effect looks very elegant, and the blotted liquid that appears just before the brush stroke works really well, too.
Also, the way you vary the speed, between starting with a slow zoom, and then zooming more rapidly once the stroke reveals the full color image is very nice, too.
The shape of the brush strokes, the shape of the water stains, the old-fashioned text overlaying the edges, and even the font—they all add up to some really nice touches that make this the absolute BEST “brushstroke” template I’ve seen.
