In this class you will learn how you can create a robot that will make unlimited amounts of views for a YouTube video using Chrome.
We will create a UiPath Robot that will enter on a YouTube webpage and it will make unlimited amounts of views. The robot has hardcoded the video link, but you can modify to work with any video that you want.
My main focus is to help you understand how you develop a robot that can be delivered to a client, and follow the natural flow of deployment: analysis, development, bug fixing and applying best practices . I will explain the whole thinking process so these notions you can easily use to develop other robots.
I will follow the steps which I use when I build a robot for a client: how I make it reliable and show you techniques used to increase the development speed. We will use UiPath Best Practices like preconditions, show you when I use Trace, Warning, building robust selectors and ensuring that the robot can be delivered to a client.
We will see incremental features and show you how you can implement:
- – understand preconditions
- – detect commercials and skip them
- – deal with time durations
- – create robust selectors
- – waiting for the video to finish
- – use conditional breakpoints
- – eventual improvements which you can make.
