Hi, my name is Alex and I’m a Senior Design Engineer with more than 22 years of experience working with CATIA in automotive engineering, motorsport, and industrial design. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on professional design projects with companies such as Ferrari Formula 1 Team, Red Bull Racing, Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, and others.
In this course, I will teach you CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE Generative Shape Design from the ground up, so that by the end of the course you will have the knowledge and confidence needed to work in a professional design environment. This course is designed for users who already understand the CATIA interface and basic concepts, and want to move into professional surface modeling. You will learn every command step by step, with dedicated videos for each tool, followed by practical exercises packed with tips, tricks, and real-world workflows.
The course structure is based on more than two decades of professional experience using CATIA, as well as many years of teaching it to others. First, I will explain all the commands in depth in videos designed so you can quickly find them whenever you need to revisit a specific tool. Then we will work through exercises to practice the commands and explore different design methods.
And we don’t stop there.
At the end of the course, I’ve included additional videos about the design industry and an introduction to advanced Class-A surface design, so you can better understand the different career paths available.
